Using IPCC-8040E with Blue Iris NVR SW Version 6

Connect the camera to the same wired network as the Windows computer running Blue Iris NVR SW Version 6. The camera can be added through ONVIF discovery or configured manually with its RTSP stream.

• Use ONVIF discovery when the camera and Windows computer are on the same local network.
• If ONVIF discovery does not find the camera, add it manually using the camera IP address and RTSP stream details.
• Confirm the camera HTTP, RTSP and ONVIF port values match the settings used in Blue Iris NVR SW.
• Use H.264 for broad compatibility or H.265 when the Windows computer and Blue Iris configuration support it.
• Blue Iris PTZ and preset control may require ONVIF configuration and should be tested after adding the camera.

A separate Blue Iris NVR SW Version 6 license is required for PC-based recording. The camera and Blue Iris NVR SW are configured separately. View the Blue Iris NVR SW Version 6 license.
